Actually I was pleasantly surprised at how realistic these dome cameras look. These dummy cameras look as real as ones that were much more expensive at a local big box electronics store. They even include a pretty "real" looking security sticker for your installation. The wording on the box is even entertaining due to the translation and that was just an added benefit. Very good value.

I bought this as an inexpensive security measure when my apartment manager's car was stolen from right outside his front door. My neighbors think it's real and no longer loiter in front of my apartment late at night smoking and talking loudly. Well worth the investment for the added privacy alone!

my neighbors were spying on me while i installed it lol... the battery has lasted well over a month which is a plus, it just sucks that i have to lie to my neighbors, one of them asked me if my cameras (i bought two) had caught anything since one of his cars was vandalized, all i could say is that they only cover the inside of my house. so all in all they r believable & at nite you can really tell the red blinking light from far away. i'll try to upload pics or even a video later.

Very pleased with the item. Very authentic looking. I would not question the validity of this camera. You can almost see it come on. It plays tricks on the mind. Awesome and can't wait to order it again!
